We start with the product purpose, operating conditions and requirements. We review existing documentation or samples and agree what needs to be developed, checked and prepared for manufacturing.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

TO A WORKABLE DESIGN.
Development is Vialco’s core service. We bring together mechanical engineering, industrial design, electronics and manufacturing methods.
Mechanical engineering and industrial design
We prepare mechanical designs, 3D models and technical documentation. The product form is developed around its use, materials, assembly and chosen manufacturing method.
Electronics development
For products with electronic assemblies, we connect the mechanical requirements with electronic functions. We define power, signals, interfaces and controls and agree the development scope. Electronics development can also be commissioned separately.
Preparing for manufacturing
Development takes account of toolmaking, CNC machining and other required processes. We agree documentation, critical dimensions and verification methods to define the transition to manufacturing.

Can we start without technical drawings?
Yes. Describe the product purpose, intended use and requirements. We use these to agree the development scope, required inputs and next steps.
Can we commission an individual service?
We can work on the complete development process or a specific stage: mechanical design, industrial design, electronics, toolmaking, machining or inspection.
Do you also develop electronics?
Yes. Electronics development is available as a standalone service and within projects combining mechanical and electronic assemblies. We agree functions, interfaces and scope when reviewing your requirements.
Where does wire EDM fit in?
Wire EDM is part of our toolmaking services. It can also be commissioned separately for tooling components and metal parts made to your drawings.
How do I send a drawing?
Use the form to describe your enquiry. Email PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP or STP drawings separately to info@vialco.si. Include the same company or contact email used in the form so we can match the documents to your enquiry.
How do you determine cost and lead time?
Cost and lead time depend on the development scope, available documentation, manufacturing complexity and quantity. We prepare a quotation and proposed workflow after reviewing your requirements.
